Fashion Designer for Linda Farrow Debuts Record-Price Luxury Sunglasses 2016

Women or men? Not really. Just take a look first.

Luxury fashion has always been out of comfortable reach for most fashion consumers, and now eyewear label Linda Farrow has made a move that widens the gap further. Imagine tossing on a pair of stylish, luxury shades to block out the sun on a hot summer day – now imagine those sunglasses costing you $32,000. Now, this is no hypothetical situation; that is the cost for the most expensive pair of sunglasses in Linda Farrow’s new three-piece collection for Lane Crawford. This marks the most expensive product ever created by the brand.

This is the $32,000 pair, as mentioned above. But, the other two pieces in this small collection are more “affordable,” with a white gold pair of aviators with platinum lenses coming in at $11,000 and a rose gold pair of circular-lensed shades for $8,700.

“Even though they’re very expensive, it’s somewhat value for money,” said Simon Jablon, creative director of Linda Farrow. “You are buying gold, you are buying diamonds, the craftsmanship on top of the design and everything that goes behind it.”
